Haircuts

Help! I've just had my 2 girls shaved and they basically got a blade 1 all over and they look terrible. The lady that has been cutting my girls for years but I've finally come to my senses and realise it's not fair having the girls look like they belong in a rat pack! I don't recognise my poor little 6 month old :( Has anyone got any suggestions? Willow is terrible when it comes to getting haircuts and brushing. She's very difficult when it comes to anything to do with her legs hence by the time I get the dog groomer in she is so matted there is nothing to be done but shave her legs. This is why I don't like the "westie look" as it's not practical for her. I also now live in bush type settings so anything not pinned down sticks to her. I'm also not that keen on sedation or spending 4 hours waiting for the groomer - but like a devoted parent I don't want to just leave her either. I'm not sure what to do for the best. I won't have to do anything until the beginning of next year, but I want to have a plan in place as I don't want to have to go through this again. I was thinking that they should have attachments to the clippers (like the human ones) so that you don't get a blade 1 all over. I guess the other thing I should have asked for was to leave their faces so they at least resembled a westie. If you don't see me at the next walk it's because I'm toooooo embarrassed. Any advice would be welcome. Amy
