Adelaide and Sunshine Coast Accommodation

Jessie & Lachie are very well travelled Westies (Queensland, Tasmania, ACT, Western Australia and South Australia - only a couple of more states to go). They have a couple of favorite spots that they like to stay and they want to share this. South Australia - North Adelaide - Cornwall Park http://www.babs.com.au/cornwallpark/index.htm We stayed here for Christmas 2006 and there were three Westie's with their cousin Darcy staying as well with his parents (my Sister & Husband). Queensland - Cooroy Country Cottages http://www.cococo.com.au/ We have stayed here a couple of times when we were living in Gladstone. Jessie and Lachie loved running in the paddocks and going to the Markets.

We can recommend Sunrise Beach Retreat at Sunrise Beach near Noosa. It is a two bedroom, Balenese style house with great views, a rumpus room, two bathrooms (one is ensuite), pool, lovely deck and most importantly, a safe, fenced-off yard for your Westie.

We stayed there with Maggie last December and we had a very relaxing holiday. There is a small shopping mall with a bakery, convenience store, and butcher, only a short walk from the house. But if you prefer a longer morning stroll, head off to Costa Noosa on Duke street in Sunshine beach for a coffee, or head to one of the off-leash dog beaches. You can read Maggie account of the holiday on her blog, Pooscapades .

Here is a google map of the area showing the location of the house and points of interest.
