CHANGE TO LOCATION OF WALK (updated Sun 7th Nov, 3:15pm)
---------------------
Update: The walk will be going ahead. There are some storms building to the west, but they are still over 200kms away, so we should be safe.
---------------------
We're really sorry to do this to you at such late notice, but we've been advised that Kedron Brook is an area with higher than usual tick population due to the abundance of rain. As a result, and in the interests of safety of all of our Westies, we are changing the walk location to our old favourite at Merthyr Park, starting at the Sydney Street Ferry Terminal on Sunday 7th November at 4:30 pm.
Also, check the website on Sunday in case there are threatening showers. Please let all your fellow Westie Walkers know. We hope to see you there and we apologise for any inconvenience.
Remember during tick season to apply Frontline Plus every fortnight! Vets around Brisbane are currently inundated with doggies who have suffered tick bites with varying degrees of ill effect. Don't let it be your Westie!

We'd love for you all to pencil in your diaries that the Wonderful Westie Walk will be held on Sunday 7 November 2010 at 4:30 pm starting from and finishing at the Grange Library, 79 Evelyn Rd, Grange, and taking in the scenic sights of Kedron Brook.
